The mascot itself isn't great. But mascots are supposed to be ridiculous. It's some dude in a costume. Shouldn't even have a mascot. And if we do, get some real hogs. So I don't think this one looks any more ridiculous than most non real mascots out there. For example, I'm a Braves fan, below is our mascot. That's no less ridiculous. But the Braves actually win, so that thing is popular as hell.



I just like the name. It cracks me up. Major Tuddy is just hilarious to me. I will be using that name quite often next year when Howell is dropping dimes to McLaurin, Dotson, and Samuel.

Fair pointS. But to me if you chose a mascot supposed to honor some of your greatest and most iconic players, you can try to have it look a bit less ridiculous and meaner, even in a cartoonish way.

Something in a costume should never be used to honor anyone(s). They should have never chose a fake character altogether if that's what they were going for.

So I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I don't think you truly honor the Hogs with anyone running around in a costume.
