And now the rest of the season is canceled. So the actual girls on the team are done.

I read they didnt have enough kids to officially play. The asst coach used the jersey of a girl who decided to play on her travel squad team instead of her HS team.

So it was pretend to be a teenager so they could play or forefeit.

The family of the girl complaining seems odd, what harm came to you? so someone else used your daughters jersey .. youre daughter chose her travel team over her HS team.

In college, my lacrosse team struggled to have enough guys to play games. Several games I had to run into freshmen dorms and headlock a few guys who never played before. Lots of games w 0 subs. Brutal.

My daughters soccer, half the games become scrimmaged bc teams dont have enough players.

If youre at such a low level of comp that teams struggle to have 6 players ... it aint serious, chillax

Still hilarious watching her and-1 celebration. Shitty situation I guess. But still. Maybe you play so all the girls can play, but you clear it w/ the other team. And it goes does down as a loss either way. Have her not be able to go into the paint or something. Not go out there and dominate lol.

its a big issue in youth sports right now where the ckub teams become more important then their HS team, happens with my son.

he had to play against Landon in hockey with only 8 skaters; his team got crushed and he was injured all because half his team choose their club team that night over their HS team

youth sports in general, man i could go on for days, only a few years left i keep saying

Except for football the scouts go to club games not high school game. My daughter went through the same crap playing soccer. She played both only time there was a problem was when both of her teams made the State playoffs.
Her club playing could get her a scholarship but she did want to play with her friends at school also. The AD who was all so the Head Football Coach tried to be an ass but I went over his head and got it ok'd.
