So basically still bent over a barrel. There just isn't a satellite dish lying on the ground right next to the barrel.

This is so sad. Not sure if it was posted elsewhere.
I read that ,while I do feel for his wife to come after the truck driver is a BS move and smells of a lawyer looking for a big payday. Again a tragedy happen to from all accounts a nice young man. There is something called personal responsibility that seems to be lacking in this lawsuit.

“Many questions remain as to why the truck driver did not avoid hitting Dwayne given the highly visible activity in the area before the impact and the fact that the other drivers did not hit Dwayne,” Ellsley said. “The truck driver’s cell phone records have not yet been disclosed. The report also notes that the driver refused to provide a blood sample to the police at the scene and still has not provided the alcohol test results.”

Why not provide a blood sample? Why not provide the test results? Smells more of guilt to me.

Adam Schefter on Twitter

Bucs’ Pro Bowl LB Devin White has in fact requested a trade, as @JennaLaineESPN reported. Bucs do not want to trade him, but he wants to be traded as he is coming up on his fifth-year option.

Yeah, but he is the third overall pick in his fouth year, big salary for a guy who has done very little. Worth a try if you have lots of cap space but big gamble if you dont

yeah, because he wants more money than they want to give him. They still have him for this year at 11.7m. Worth an ask, but probably not going to amount to anything for us.

@AdamSchefter
Eagles and Jalen Hurts reached agreement on a five-year, $255 million extension, including $179.304 million guaranteed, per source.

Hurts becomes the highest-paid player in NFL history in a deal negotiated by Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports Group and Eagles’ GM Howie Roseman.

Crazy how far Hurts has come. It was universally mocked when the Eagles took him. In all of our faces. Good for him. Seems like a really good dude and he balled out.
