Jones was a top 15 quarterback for one year and he is looking to cash in like a damn first ballot hof’er.

When he throws 20 picks next year his contract will be a punchline for years. Can we set the bar low at two decent years before you demand insane money?

It isn’t personal G-1. It has nothing to do with my hate for the Giants. If any average quarterback with one good (not great, but good), season was looking for that much money we would be laughing at him.

You have to be concerned about paying him so much that you cannot build around him (wr, oline, lb’s). Especially if he doesn’t wind up being worth it. It is a real problem you guys have. If our quarterback woes make you feel better thats fine, lol, but it is a problem for the Giants. Break the bank on an unproven commodity, or move on and build the team?

Well yeah ya gotta accept it when it’s your team, but when it’s not you laugh at it.

The comments are great btw on that tweet. My favorite is that this fake alone is worth 37 mill.

There is the one about how fakes look better when the D has to account for barkley who will be leaving if they give him what he is asking for…

Yes, my question with Jones is durability but yeah I think he can play I just hope we can get him some players around him.

There in lies the problem. Gonna be real tough to get those players and sign him. For someone of his caliber Im personally not tying all that money up. Id take the two first rounders in the franchise and keep the money. It never happens but this year is different. The fan did a poll this morning asking if giants fans would rather have him or the picks. Last i heard it was about 400 votes and 60 percent would take the picks before paying him.
We will see what happens but if he gets 40-45 mill he better become a top 5 quarterback or ruh roh.
