I don't get it either. Plenty of priorities for the new owner, the name of team isn't and shouldn't be one of them.

I understand but there has been such discussion about it that it's understandable . First, IMPO if I'm the new owner I bump RR upstairs and make EB your HC. Second I work with DC and start the process for a new stadium. I just think that a new name a new Owner signals a new beginning .

IMO these should be the new owner's priorities:

1. Assessing the finances of the team (aka cleaning Snyder's mess)
2. Stadium
3. Coaching/FO assessment (after this upcoming season ends)

Technically, it's still the offseason until Wednesday. We got today and tomorrow to get all the name change talk done.
