Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
He'd better be. You don't draft a player in the 1st Round to be a backup.

Nah, first round pick, he should be leaving receivers on Forbes Island week 1.

Top 5 (maybe 10) overall, perhaps. But I think those are pretty lofty expectations for a rookie CB for week 1, just because he was drafted in the 1st round. Maybe as the season progresses, or by year 2. |

Or not? Nah, I am lol. I don't expect him to lock down receivers immediately. But we are woefully lacking in turnovers the last few years, I'm hoping he helps immediately in that department.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
You are confusing me. I don't even know what CB1, CB2, etc. means in terms of position, if anything. All I'm saying is that he was drafted in the 1st Round and if he is a true 1st Round talent he should be starting in Game 1 at some position in the secondary. First Rounders are plugged into starting lineups right away all over the league.

I do agree that he should be a starter. I don't agree with any expectations for him to be the best DB on the field in week 1. |
