Regarding Cook being released, appears to be done for 3 reasons:

1) Minny thinks Alexander Mattison is ready to take over the starting spot.
2) Too many negative plays. O'Connell's offense isn't down with that.
3) Salary cap

4 straight seasons over 1,000 yards and still got released. Only 27. Craziness.

Heard that rumor also. They already have tons of playmakers. AFC East is going to be loaded this year.
