The far left hating the west and taking the side of it's enemies is nothing really new. What is new it quite a few MAGA followers who ten years ago were gung-ho supporters of the US and the west have now joined them in hating the west and taking the side of its' enemies.

When the movie came out, the throughly debunked myth “Japan was about to surrender” before they justifiably turned to ash narrative was being parroted by progressives…it was as laughable and false as the 1619 project debunked lies.
