Still that stench is there which is the second most important reason the name is hated by the vast majority of the teams fans.

I think most people hate the name because a.) it is not the Redskins or b.) it was not the name they wanted (i.e. Redwolves crowd).

I am sure there are people that don't like the name because it is associated with Snyder, but not as many as the other two groups that I mentioned.

Winning is the key to everything, if this team becomes a consistent winning team, the ownership will be able to do just about anything in terms of the name, change it (along with a new stadium) or keeping it.
