I say his biggest positive to date is he isn't easily rattled; which is a great asset

I hope he works out but IMHO the Harris group isn't saying behind closed doors, check off QB1 we are all set there

Of course they aren’t. That would be foolish. Always have to keep options open for any player/position.

The positives i see are just what i listed. Arm strength, accuracy, poise, mobility, toughness. He has shown us all that. It has to be consistent of course, and that remains to be seen. Just saying that after 2 starts I’ve seen enough to think that we could be on to something. Taylor Heinekie had zero arm strength. Carson Wentz had zero mobility. That was obvious. There is no obvious weakness to what I see with Sam. He just needs to hone his skills but that isn’t a weakness it is something any rookie quarterback needs to do. Even the greatest ones had to do that.

his most obvious weakness is the speed of his progressions and holding the ball to long especially with a sus line

Both extremely coachable and fixable unlike arm strength etc.

Okay I will agree with that… however you would think the coaches and whoever makes the draft picks should take that into consideration and draft O line help and a game plan with more running .. it’s like they think Mahomes is back there .. I blame them ..

Oline is priority one this offseason. I like that they let him chuck it around though. He will learn to throw the ball away, and get rid of it faster. He has to trust his instincts sometimes on his first read. Don’t be afraid to make a mistake, that is when you make mistakes. He has to feel some pressure about finally being a competent quarterback for a franchise starving for one. I honestly believe that he will figure it out. It really may take some time, we have to be patient.
