The irony of being sued for not using the Redskins name is pretty funny. This lawsuit isn't going fucking anywhere. I hope that they don't settle or anything. Go to court and get this shit tossed out. Try to get the legal fees paid for too.

There is no requirement that a team has to be named a specific thing. The name could have been changed just because they wanted to change it for fun.

Exactly. There is nothing but political motivation behind this whole thing. And Meks woke is not a joke. It is being misrepresented by the far right. There is no joke about an "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination".
