Exactly! The owners hands were tied, so they couldn't do anything that late in the ballgame. I doubt they sit on their hands with Rivera.

I doubt it too. Had it been earlier, I think they would have made a change at the HC (and possibly the GM).

Ron hasn't had a winning season and this is his 4th year. His best season was 8-8. That's unacceptable. He's had ample time. I hope the new owner gets rid of most of this staff, and GM and just start fresh.

Very true but he should have sent clearer signals of change. Things he could have done - no black uniforms, stating that the team name will change, firing Wright and the scouting department etc. Wouldn't have effected the performance on the field but would have reduced the target on him.

There is no target on him and he couldn’t fire any department in August. He is here. Snyder is gone. Give the man one full year to observe and one full offseason to fix it.

I think that Josh Harris still trying to evaluate everything. And from some of the comments it does seem like the name of the team will change

Absolutely evaluating. Nothing else to do. Certainly not doing anything rash right away. That is what got our last owner in trouble. People got a short memory. Lol. There will be absolute wholesale changes made come the end of this year. Most importantly we are now an attractive destination simply because dick head is gone. Things will be ok.
