Yeah it will be a couple years given positions the Skin need to fill.
Need to find at least 4 new starters for the OL (Cosmi is startable not great but startable) and they need at least 1 more corner after wasting the 1st this year on Forbes. Add that to potential losses in FA that open up more holes and it will be probably 3 years before they can probably contend (and that is only if the Skins fix their player evaluation process which has been broken for a very long time).

If so, the only way he'll be traded is on draft day or shortly afterwards by the new staff. I seriously doubt the current staff and front office has any autonomy to trade anyone based on them basically being lame ducks.

Jon Allen probably will give the new staff an opportunity to start anew and be back with the team next season.
