We Effing Suck - Post Game Thread

I am a long way from how I felt about this team after the Cardinals game (that they probably should have lost). I flew my family out as a surprise for the 1st home game since the 90s without DS as the owner. It was a great time, we met some alumni, the stadium was rocking, and they got the W. It's been mostly down hill from there though. Sadly, I don't think we're too far from this thing completely blowing up from the inside - out.

It's fairly obvious that the number one problem is the coaching staff. I 100% believe that if you put these same players with the Giants coaching staff or any other coaching staff in the league, this team would be 6-1. Honestly, I would clean house this week. The HC, OC, DC, and STC have no business collecting another paycheck here in their current roles. I don't even care who replaces them. Jim Zorn could do a better job.

And can we please stop all the talk about EB being the next Head Coach here? No fucking way... Through seven weeks he's made zero adjustments. His game plans (if you want to call them that) are horrendous. I know, I went too far calling this O-line decent this week. They sure proved me more than wrong, but EB has done absolutely nothing to help them out. Nothing. I was predicting the plays today - telling my son what was coming next. Most of the time I was right. If I'm sitting on my couch and I know what's coming, then he's 100% predictable for a good DC. Between EB's plan, the O-line, and Sam's tendency to hold the ball, this offense has no chance... None.

I don't blame those of you who say you won't watch another game this year. I'm sure you'll save yourself a lot of pain - free up some family time, etc. It's probably the smart move. Me - I'll just be sitting in front of the TV every week, hoping to see something different...

Too bad we didn't lose to the Falcons. That win probably bought this staff a couple more weeks than they deserve.

Perfectly said, Chief. I'll say it again, this is a bottom 5 coaching staff in the league. The head coach, and defensive and offensive coordinators are horrendous. As much as I wanna like Bieneimy; he has been as bad or worst than JDR. I don't want Bieneimy nowhere near the interim head coach. I mean zero interest.

No way there are even 4 worse coaching staffs. This staff does less with more, than other bad teams. The Bears gangbanged us, the Bears!!! And the HC is the GM, and he's even worse in that role*.

Every single person below the executive staff should be fired no later than 3 days after Week 17.

Get a GM, hopefully hire a young HC, like Johnson from the Lions, fix the OL, and get a DC that has more than 1 play in his playbook.

Oh! This very well could be the worst staff in the league. I just used "bottom five" as a barometer. Unless the season miraculously turn around, this staff will be fired in December or right after the final game of the season. Take it to the bank!

Rivera and JDR will officially retire as I highly doubt anyone will hire them, and Bieneimy will end up as a positional coach somewhere. All remaining coaches and upper management from the Snyder "error" needs to hit the road after the season.

I think we'll be fine once the stench is outta the building.

What staff could be worse? Seriously, other than playing hard against a good Eagles team, we’ve been pretty dreadful and unprepared all season. The Bears and Cards - two talent depleted teams - are showing a lot more fight than we do.

This is the one silver lining that we all need to be clinging to. For the first time in years we can actually seriously entertain real coaches, gm’s, etc.

This bunch of slobs running the show now was the best Snyder could get.

This year was fools gold. Snyder may have left, but his stink remains. Cannot wait to fumigate!

Last year when we knew we were a crap team again the biggest problem was Snyder is never going anywhere and nobody is going to come here who is better than anyone we got.

I would love to see a draft evaluation of RRs tenure. Other than his first year when we got Young, Gibson, Charles, Hudson and Curl has he had an above average draft at all? So far I feel the last 2 years of 1st and 2nd rounders have been non impact players. Dotson has had moments but my expectation is a first rounder = immediate impact player

Even that first year. Gibson is like in between a back and wr. Hard to really utilize the guy and he fumbles. Charles is garbage. Hudson is i don’t even know. Curl was a great late round steal that was most likely luck.

Definitely agree. The biggest reason this draft is a success is those players are still playing beyond the average shelf life and state line of an NFLer at their draft point. Gibson is propped up by getting chances over and over

And honestly with this staff you never really know what you have in a player. They don’t exactly utilize or get the best out of anyone. When they do for a game that player seems to disappear. All three coaches are just stubborn jack asses constantly trying to shove a square peg into a round hole. Because otherwise they would have to think.
