I would not be opposed to keeping him if he impresses ownership, is given power to pick players and his own coach. I'm not down on him as much as I am on Ron, EB and Jack. MM knows how important o-line play is. He saw it up close. But since he's attached to Ron, he'll most likely be shown the door.

I think Johnson has to be the number one guy on their list for HC.

Poor Ron doesn't notice much of anything these days. At least I give him credit for doing the right thing by not running for President of the U.S.A. Thanks Ron!

Listen, I don't want people to take this the wrong way, I'm sure Martin Mayhew might be a great guy, but to me, he was at the top of a team that went 0-16, and then in his second year went 2-14. I feel like having that level of incompetence should keep him out of being a GM ever again.

Twice in eight years did his team manage double digit wins. Six times out of eight he was worse than .500. He should have been fired from Detroit WAY before he finally was.

I will never know why he was hired again as GM here. Him and Ron both had horrible track records. I get with Dan Snyder, it was only being able to hire the "best of the worst". That stuff is over with now so I feel like we will again be able to get top quality people, not people who have been fired every where else and re-treads / stop-gaps...
