There's a lot of taking out the trash to do here. Under DS, my annual optimism meter only went to - Playoff birth. With a new Front Office and Coaching Staff likely on the horizon, I have to reset that optimism meter to peak at SB win. I am hopeful the new regime can make this team relevant next year, but it will likely take at least 1+ to be competitive enough to expect to be in that discussion, and that is IF Sam Howell actually turns out to be the guy (if he's not completely ruined by year's end). If not, then it will be much longer.
