No one talks about Penix, he might be the best of the bunch and love that he’s a lefty. I would trade down and get him.

He’s really good and will fly up the draft boards. I am not against him at all. In fact he might be QB2 for me so far

Dude he is slinging it tonight. Dimes, climbs the pocket and just flicks it He’s thrown 4 just big time throws tonight. Crazy the amount of competitions outside the numbers, you gotta have the accuracy and arm to throw it that well

I really like Penix .. has a different throwing motion but can drop dimes from any distance.. if we could trade down a few spots and get more picks and land him I would be down with that !

He definitely has an interesting motion, but that damn ball always gets where it needs to be. If we wasn't a lefty and didn't have 2 previous torn ACL's, he might be the No. 1 prospect in the draft.

If we could land Penix and Odunze that would be perfect. Would need a trade down scenario. Both are stars and have played together. Instantly have qb1 and wr1. Odunze is a stud also who makes big plays.

Penix is a leader also. The commentators remarked earlier how Penix called a players ONLY meeting for this game. He has been a leader all year long with his team undefeated and potentially going to the national title game.

He sure is, almost as good as Marvin Harrison Jr.

Agree but rivers also had a non traditional release and he’s a HOF. I like Penix a lot. The issue is his knee injuries he’s had

Their TE Jack Westover would be in my radar, he's impressive.

That's why it would be the perfect scenario, trade down, get the extra picks, get Penix and you still have Howell and a shit load of draft picks. Maybe Matthew McConaughey can influence Harris to draft him and his WR, TE and DE since he saw his longhorns get beat by them.

I would be surprised if McConaughey have any kind of influence on Harris, or perhaps I should say, I hope he doesn't. The only thing we all should want Harris to do is to hire football people and then sit back and watch them do their jobs.

He's been healthy the last 2 seasons. Kid is too good to worry about previous issues unless something comes up in a physical. Kid is a total baller. Beating Oregon twice, Texas, and rolling the Pac 12 is no joke at all.

Impressive resume.

Honestly, I think opting out of their bowl games could end up hurting C Williams & D Maye. Especially if Penix continues to impress.

Penix has the mental attributes also to be a star in the NFL. He is controlled but still fiery, always in command, and a leader. No off the field issues at all. It will be interesting to where these qbs go: Penix, C Williams, Maye, Daniels. Each have their own attributes but all are super talented.
