Two quarterbacks since Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season.

QB1: 141 completions in 206 attempts (68.4%) for 1,623 yards (7.9 YPA), 11 touchdowns, five interceptions, 13 big-time throws, and a passer rating of 99.6.

QB2: 170 completions in 254 attempts (66.9%) for 1,800 yards (7.1 YPA), 11 touchdowns, four interceptions, 18 big-time throws, and a passer rating of 95.3.

QB1 is Tua Tagovailoa.
QB2 is Sam Howell.

those are good stats but not sure what Farrar is trying to say; why did he pick those two? He doesnt say they are the two best from week 4

Also what is the qualifier for "big time throws" ?

BTT's are throws into tight windows like in man covg or zone but the defender is less than 2 yards away

It’s a PFF stat?

Couple elite traits…ball placement and throwing with anticipation, makes Sam a step above other young QB.

This is also a second system Sam been in 2 years and he has seemed to pick up EB fairly quickly.

Folks, we need to build around Sam.

Tua is the best quarterback in football right now in many categories. I think it was meant to be a comparison between Sam and the best statistical quarterback.
