RG3 came into the league with 2 bad knees and no ability to protect himself when he ran. It was when, not if.

Also Shannahans gave him a lot of half-field reads etc. Once the injury happened, and people got tape and realized he didn't read defenses well, and his dad came in to tell the head coach which plays he would and would not run :/...

he did have 1 great year though.
