Incorrect. It is a smart move. They wait to see if he gets hired as a HC, if he does, we get a pick in 2025 I believe under the NFLs minority hire/development program. If we just cut him loose, we wouldn't. We can always cut him loose later if he isn't picked up.

The word and instead of or is confusing to me. EB could fall under b but doesn't meet the a.
