you're assuming ron wouldn't cut him first. Ron hates having LB's on the roster.

The sad part of this is there is some truth to it.

Forbes, BSJ, and everyone else in the secondary have to be excited to this move. Dallas has put their secondary in position to make plays not wait and react to plays.

"Position flex" needs to be incidental--not a primary reason that we pursue anyone.
