Pretty much how I see him. He's a great athlete, great college player but has no feel for the NFL passing game at all. At this point in his career he is who he is, where w/ Sam I still see a lot of upside.

This is the only signing I did not like. They wanted Darnold, this was probably the next guy on their list as they obviously need a vet to mentor the rookie. I hope he stays in the QB room, I'd feel better with Howell as the #2 which is why I hope they retain him.

i believe the MM was signed to give them flexibility with Sam .. if they can trade him for 4th rounder then he maybe gone .. signing MM fills that hole .. i would not get rid of howell for anything less than 4 rounder .. with the way QB injuries take place he could be worth something at some point ..
