It's kind of high average as a one year cost, but not anything at allespecially when looking at total contract values.

BUT when you've got two other QBs on rookie salaries it makes that cap cost a lot less daunting

Yeah he’s clearly coming in as the backup… I don’t get the “what about Sam” nonsense. We paid JB $8m last year so yeah Mariota’s deal is right in line with backup money.
