At number 2 is clearly the QB. With our two seconds and two thirds we can get an OT, and CB that should be pretty much bpa anyway. With the rest of the picks we can go bpa all the way. This is an exciting time to be a fan.
While I want them to draft an OT, we need at least two and any OT at the #36 pick is not going to be ready to go from the first snap so I would be concerned about having him block the blindside of our shiny new rookie QB. If we are going to start a rookie OT then they really need to trade back into rd 1 in the 20s to get one of the better OTs. Either way they still need to sign a starting OT and a swing Tackle in FA. Then start the rookie at RT and a FA at LT, but having a good swing tackle will allow him to step in if the rookie struggles.

Yeah the really highly touted OT’s will be gone by the second. But the Princley (cant remember his last name) and Jordan Morgans of the world will be there at 36 possibly.

Didn’t someone post something on here recently about the success rate of OT’s drafted in the top 10 vs being drafted in the first few rounds in general?
It heavily favored the ones drafted later. Anyway I would not be opposed to- at all - grabbing an OT in FA - a veteran who can hold their own like you said.
