Nobody can predict the future but i do not want to walk away from the position we are in with a day two quarterback unless someone offers us such an insane amount of picks that it is impossible to say no.

Everything, (new owner, best gm in years, solid FA moves made, cap space still great, 9 picks [6 in top 100], new staff, excited fan base) points towards a day one number 2 pick at quarterback. I think it will be Daniels too.
Definitely the best kind of bold statement. I got some 2048 predictions for you if you want them.

The safest bet (and still a crapshoot) is to draft the guy w/ the best physical tools. That is J.D. imo. I don't trust Maye's accuracy. His short pass stats are not very good. Those need to be almost automatic in the NFL.

Interesting take, saw a quote from a scout today that Maye has the highest ceiling QB in the draft but will take a lot of developing..... or just predraft smoke?

You mention physical tools, and then question (rightly) Maye's accuracy not the fact he has arguably better physical tools. Maye is 2 years younger so needs a lot more development, but aside from running speed his tools are better than Daniels imo.

Jayden's running skills are elite. I think his running skills gives him the overall physical tools advantage over Maye.

I should have added an either to this sentence:

I don't trust Maye's accuracy (either).
