"i felt we were very resilient in that game despite injuries and this shows the kind of threat we are gonna be"

"the message that is very clear , as a unit, as a team, we are comming out to kick someone's tail and not those exact words. Some of the words we use are nasty... We just continue to fight fight and fight"

"To be honest with you the first meating we had with tampa was physically a great game for us. We didn't close out the deal."

"I think if we are as physical as we have been in the last couple games then thats what we need to do."

"They found what they needed to win that game. That is what we need to do, find what we need to win that game. With practice and watching film i think we can do that"

"In my oppinion, not to take away from anything from anyone on this team, we have a ton of strong character guys but lamar marshall is the MVP on this defense. We sat together and talked about how it is funny how things work out. From being a back up. Playing OLB then Playing MLB because antonio leaving and coming from playing CB earlier in his career. I am proud of him. He is still learning and will only get better."

"to play for the redskins in this type of game means the world to me"
"i have never stopped loving being a redskin"
"having the opportunity to know that there is on clear cut thing out of all this is to have the opportuninty to play as a redskins and play for these fans"

"people are gonna say what they want to say they will write what they want to write. But there is nothing greater than to play for these fans and give these fans something to chear for. nothing in the world can make me happier but the birth of my daughter than to bring back a lambardi for this city"

Now THAT is the Lavar I know and love.

If Lavar restructures after this season and takes a HUGE pay cut, then I will welcome him back as a Redskin next year, just as I did Mark Brunell this year. Hopefully there will be a similar result.
