He got benched two weeks before he had an opportunity to come back and deny his former team a playoff clinching win, of course he was pissed off.

I also agree - he might be pissed about being benched but there's a reason he's beloved in Minnesota - he has a standup rep for being a good teammate. I fully believe he was helping Penix if Penix wanted his help.
