I don't think this FA class is all that strong in general. There were/are a lot of dbs, but most of the biggest names had pretty terrible seasons in 2024. Most of the WRs never made it to market. DTs got ridiculous contracts in general this offseason (compared to performance).

I imagine AP is looking at all options for a DE. I'm also wondering if maybe the kinlaw deal had incentives (armstrong is $33m/3y, but up to $45m max with incentives).
