Marcus Washington was named defensive player of the month for the NFC today. This is an award he truly deserves. This guy is so underrated. He is the backbone of our defense and has been a big reason for the success of the Skins. This guy has some serious talent and should continue to excell under Gregg Williams.

He also was awarded a 1st place team vote on Len P.'s ESPN team. He should have made the Pro Bowl, but it's hard to argue against Lance Briggs. I think both Washington and Marshall have been outstanding this year, and hopefully both will retire as Redskins. He's not going anywhere as long as G Dubs is running this nasty defense.
