Where do you get it that the Dems can open the government at anytime? How can that not apply to the Pubs as well? Of course the GOP can open the government, they aren't trying by refusing to even negotiate.
They expect the Dems to just pass a bill that eliminates the ACA, which is the law and can not simply be ignored in a budget bill? Why on Earth would they vote for a bill that will eliminate health care coverage for millions of Americans, Americans living in poverty in the south who voted for Trump?
