Assuming he was willing to listen to a peon like me, I'd say don't be too hesitant to switch to Ramsey if Brunell's knee precludes him from making accurate throws.
If there is one constant we can count on since Brunell has been a Redskin, it's that he is very inaccurate when he has a bum leg. Last year he had hammy problems and we know how that turned out. Last week his knee was hurting him and he went 9-25. I'd tell Gibbs that if Brunell looks like his knee still hurts and he looks shaky on the first couple of series, he's not likely to get much better. At that point, even a mistake-prone Ramsey is a better option. |
