We aren’t an attractive destination. You have a head coach who’s realistically on the hot seat. He’s going with first time coordinators.

That could be scaring potential free agents from wanting to sign here. At least the top tier.

Yep, it seems we offered insane money for the top WR in Indy, 2m more, yet he says in Indy, yeah his brother is close, but that doesn't scream oh goody I get to play with Jayden Daniels and live in a disfunctional politically charged city for the next several years.
Not saying DC is a disincentive, but don't forget, we're currently at war too.
It's kinda a bad time to be selling move to Washington in general.

Of course if you live in a football only bubble, yeah it's the teams fault.
It may only be 5% of a factor, but it MIGHT be a factor at this particular moment.
NFL players are people just like us, with families and human concerns just like us if we were asked to move to a new city. It's not an easy thing to do.

But back to raw football what is going on? Wheres this aggressive free agency? Why no fruit with day one difference makers?
The one with the real answer is Alec Pierce.

Where did you get that from? I haven't seen any news regarding that offer. I find it hard to believe that AP would be willing to sign 2nd tier WR to a big contract that is normally reserved for 1st tier WR.
