Ugh -- I bet NYG will take Downs. Reese and Downs would be a terrific draft haul no matter what else they do. Dang.

I'm still traumatized by Rivera picking Davis. It's ruining my enjoyment of this pick. I know it's a different front office and player, but it's still a mental block. Also, a pure off ball linebacker at 7 seems risky altogether.

Styles, Chenal, Luvu, and Magee -- that is a lot of speed at that level.

We all are. Big difference -- no one other that RR thought Davis should be that high. Lots of folks had Styles going before 7 in mock drafts and his combine numbers were just silly. It should be a great pick for us.

I wonder if DAL is going after Downs or if they wanted to get Bain, knowing that Miami needs D L help. Or maybe Jerry will do something altogether different -- the dude is pretty unpredictable.
