Re: Post Draft: Who do you want at WR2 / X Receiver?

Trying to take a dispassionate view, I have to question how he's being advised, if at all. His agent should be trying to keep him in check so that he can negotiate (or even force) a release by the 49ers on terms favourable to both parties. The rest of the NFL must be looking on (including us) to see how this potentially impacts future contract scenarios. I can only see 3 scenarios, none of which would encourage any NFL team to deal with him.

Worst - it's all him and he's listening to nobody. He must be mad if he thinks teams are going to be enamoured of a loud mouthed malcontent. He's poisoning the well with every piece of media he's putting out there.
Bad - he's taking advice of people that don't know NFL FO mentality and thinking that teams will see this as only attacking the 49ers. When it comes down to it, the NFL will circle the wagons if there's a need to protect the league identity. No FO is sitting there saying 'we hate the 49ers so he must be on our side'.
Almost as bad - he's listened to his agents advice (who has advised him against the actions he's taken/taking), weighted it up and dismissed it. BA is qualified to be a WR and pretty much nothing else. His agent is well qualified to give good advice and negotiate with sports teams, so if you are dismissing his advice you better know what you are doing. He doesn't, so this convinces me he's an idiot and is likely to repeat this BS with any team he goes to.

Although he's a known in terms of talent, he's an unknown in terms of capability post injury, he's an unknown in terms of mental health, and he's a known in terms of not taking qualified advice. All adds up to a hard pass to me.
