Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Losing LT is a back breaking type of injury. He is the one guy on the line we can't afford to lose. That's like a 4-6 month injury so there is a chance we don't see him again until next year. Just brutal.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
LT and no center ; O line just became the weakest link with a fragile QB
I love when the initial report is always no big deal just a stinger etc etc , then 3 hours later career ending . That shit went on all last year with jd5 and his injuries

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
I wouldn’t call the season over. We could sign Decker, or move Coleman to LT. It’s 10th day of training camp, and while injuries suck, it’s football. Let’s have some optimism.

I thought that this is why we keep drafting tackles that we try to turn into guards, anyway … ? |

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
This. Decker asked for a release after Detroit asked him to take a paycut. Just sign him to bolster the tackle position. Former 1st rounder and pro bowler. 32 years old. Cannot leave this position to chance.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
San Fran had injuries left and right last year but overcame and made playoffs and won a playoff game.
If our coaches are worth a damn, they’ll find a way around this. Minimum expectation is still at least a 9-8 record. DQ can’t do that, what’s the point of him. Playoffs might be out the window now but at least a winning season.6 |

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Joint practice with Dolphins was great.
Jayden seems to have already fully transitioned to under center and has replaced Ertz with Diggs. Our edge rush was awesome The adoption of both offense and defense seem to be fully understood. Even the kickers were flawless. The concern of Coleman taking over LT didn't seem to directly show up, however it did expose connelly at RT with solo pass blocking against Chop Robinson. And the interior oline was an issue with bad snaps and going backwards against the run. So they will shore that up. Much of that was 2nd string unknown guards being bad and both of our backup centers having snapping issues : good jones (against the 1's) and Gulbin (vs 2's) My prediction: we will pick up 2 more guard/center and a guard/tackles as the ones we have for camp aren't cutting it. However, our other primary 2nd string center is doing quite well, he should ascend, he made great calls, snapped well and held his own in run blocking. Barring a trade, he is likely to be our backup center and has potential to start believe it or not ( think Rasul Douglas) His name Center: Daniel Brunskil This dude is gunna make the team The only reason they won't play him at the preseason game with the ones over good jones is to keep it consistent until Allegretti is back on Monday. Good Jones has one last shot, perhaps even to make the 53, it is Friday night Gulbin is a project that frankly, shouldn't be on the 53 yet, yes someone may scoop him at final cuts, but he's not really a mobile scheme fit anyways. No way I keep him over a wr/RB/edge. I think we will be good enough at center because Good Jones is only in right now as an experiment. I think he is a cut candidate.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Brandon Coleman was our starting LT when we went to the championship game two years ago, maybe the sky isn’t falling.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
It would be awesome if he could lock it down. LT is such a vital position, and Tunsil is one of the best. Hoping there is some type of solution and the oline holds up. Would love to see Coleman make it work.
