Re: W2: @Dallas Week Prediction thread
I’m starting to have a bad feeling about this game. After losing a close on to Philly, the interviews I’ve seen make the team seem like they were satisfied with it being close and disappointed they didn’t pull off an upset. But not anger or fired up that they let an opportunity slip through their fingers. So this week feels like business as usual. (And for us, for the last few decades, that hasn’t been good.). Dallas, on the other hand, seems embarrassed by their home opener and champing at the bit for a chance to take that out on someone.
I hope I’m wrong, but the vibe I get from the team is not, “We need to go to Dallas and punch them in the mouth.” They should not be motivated by fear of going 0-2 in the division but by the prospect of sticking it to Dallas in their place. Man, I hope they do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: W2: @Dallas Week Prediction thread
They need to sit Sainristil. After last week's debacle, this is what he said to a reporter at The Atheltic: "That wasn’t a coaching thing. That wasn’t a schematic thing. That was just two plays on my end with a … I guess you could call it a lack of effort.”
Sit him this week. The whole game. Rasul Douglas and Fabian Moreau can get some playing time. There have to be repercussions for something like this.

Agree. Hard to do that though when your pass blocking sucks. Maybe it gets better but hard to be optimistic with it. He's a great qb, but he's got have some help on the oline consistently.

Re: W2: @Dallas Week Prediction thread
That's terrible. And if that is the case, then I can certainly understand the difficulties here. But all the more reason to let him sit and give him some time and space to recover from that traumatic experience. (I am not advocating cutting the guy; that seems extreme and particularly with the new information, pretty harsh). There was a Ted Lasso episode that this reminds me of -- you don't know what these guys bring to work every day and what's going on in their lives. (True for anyone we work with or otherwise come across, actually.) Time to show a little grace.

Re: W2: @Dallas Week Prediction thread
If this is true, then I fault the staff for putting him in he's not right mentally. NFL requires 110% effort. A lack thereof is unacceptable. Terrible to hear with the report above.
