Amos is still injured and Witherspoon couldn't hold his own in shells against our #2/3 wide receivers, which happens to be our other weakness.
No way he could compete with Pickens, etc.
Not saying Douglas would shine either, but nor would Mikey.
I kind see our corners like this at this point "currently"

B- Amos (injured/last yr) starter outside
C- Sanrisil (last yr) starter outside
C- Robertson (last yr) starting nickleback
B- Douglas (last year) solid backup outside
D+ Witherspoon (recently) meh backup outside
I am not sure if Hamilton is considered a CB, but he would be a cut candidate, but he plays special teams

I'm not sure of Witherspoon making the cut now.
There is a world Rasul Douglas starts on the outside, either because of Amos injury or if he is clearly better than Mikey outside. I doubt they would do that though as I bet they want to develop Mikey outside and keep Robertson in the slot as they say he's best there.
I like many here am confused as to where to play Mikey (slot or outside)
My eyes tell me he should not be covering tall wr with his back turned.
He actually seems like a free safety type to me, or a zone coverage guy. Amos is a traditional man guy, I feel best about him.
Regarding my grades, I expect the top 3 will improve, and Douglas has peaked. Witherspoon is far better than recent reports, who knows, maybe he just had a bad spring.

I do not think we are in trouble is Douglas starts, any drop off from a starter would be minimal. You could even put him on an island like Lattimore and he's probably do just as well but with a pick or two.

I am feeling much better about CB, it was a a concern for me.
This may be one of the best depth signings of the off season.
As a backup outside CB, he was clearly the best available and pretty good at that.
Now we need a #2 WR and an amazing Center to be cut.

Time for Rasul Douglas to take over for Sanrisill outside.
I will give AP credit for this signing, I think he is clearly better than Mikey who has continued to regress, and arguably should not be on the field at all.
