Re: Post Colt thread
Same. Dudes avy was made outta stone most of that duration for a reason. But I completely agree. Its getting really bad in the league. Unwatchable is growing ever so closer. We keep seeing the wildly shitty shit end of the stick, too. Despicable actions by and yet the same trash lack thereof ... from this garbage soap opera/reality tv drivel.

Re: Post Colt thread
I thought the team played hard and had a lot to overcome in this game. It was definitely closer than the score indicated. The refs should be all suspended. Indy didn't get their only penalty until about 7 mins left in the game, while we got slapped with 10. Ain't no fucking way that nonsense should be allowed to stand. I tip my hat to the 3rd string QB. Dude did better than I thought minus that one INT.

Re: Post Colt thread
If Jayden balls out and we somehow win convincingly, the entire fanbase would have optimism. Still a young season. Very interested to see how JD5 plays. Just concerned about oline.

He said something about before the season they are instructed to focus on certain things and flags are increased on those things in the beginning of the season but it slowly adjusts. It is hard to believe that Commanders are right in the middle of the league for flags m(15th most flagged team) but I'd like to see something that shows the number of flags the league got wrong vs right because I feel like we've had plenty of BS calls.

Re: Post Colt thread
Are you concerned about the o line from pass protection? If so don't be. The run block has been the issue. If they start run blocking better and get the running game better this o will be nasty. The pass protection has been solid despite all the injuries and being on a second string and then eventually third string qb. Currently tied for 2nd fewest sacks, also Commanders QBs have the longest time to throw in the league by a wide margin and the pass block win rate is 58% 3rd best in the league. But run block we are having runners get hit in the backfield on over 50% of run plays. Completely unacceptable.

Re: Post Colt thread
Sacks, pass time and pressure frate are a combo or QB and o line we have been fortunate to have JD, MM and AK who both can extend plays and avoid sacks but the pass win rate is exclusively on the o line and is great, especially with the injuries and what IMO has been a front office failure at the center position.

All of which is why I was bemused that DQ went for it on 4th in a lousy field position (and when we were not chasing the game) and worse, tried to make the 1st running up the middle (given we got 2 crucial 1st's at the end of the Seahawks game with outside runs). 🤔 Last edited by AnonEmouse; 10-08-2026 at 01:33 PM. That 4th down play was a bad call sometimes you have to try to win games 13-12. Definitely an indictment of DQ decision to go for it and Blough play call and personnel for the call

Re: Post Colt thread
Yep, if Quinn is fighting for his job by seasons end (I doubt they'll pull the trigger before then and I think AP is safe enough for this year), then it's calls like this that will have likely doomed him.
