As I reflect on the game here is the level of blame from yesterday:
1. The Defense- finally given a two touchdown lead in the 4th quarter they proceed to give up two long touchdown drives from Winston only targeting Nabers and Lively. Never should have seen overtime.

2. Blough- Didn't adjust until the final drive of overtime to the Cover 0 blitz. Giants kept doing it and dared them to beat them.

3. Quinn- If you are not calling plays then you have to manage the game and that last :55 seconds is all on you.

4. J. Daniels- Even though his foot was stepped on he still had a chance to throw it over Sinnott's head or deep over Burks head. Bad Mental mistake

With time running out, they could have had a player take a swing at a Giants player, the flag would have come out immediately and the clock would have been stopped. Even 15 yards further back would have allowed for an attempt.

If we're going down the hypothetical route of backing up a brinks truck to get some one in sign me up for Dave Canales. I'd roll down to Charlotte right now if I'm Harris and Peters and say what'll it take? No blank check for draft picks mind you but I'd hear it out.

Huh? That would be a 15-yd PF and move the ball even further back for a kicker that’s not been reliable.

It would have allowed for the fg attempt yesterday which our team couldn't even do is Calia's point. Just proves how egregiously incompetent we were to not even get an attempt.

Exactly my point. I'd rather we'd have tried a 56 yard FG than nothing at all. Obviously, a 41 yarder is better. Stevens is 2/4 from 50+ yards, so not a given, but you miss 100% of the kicks you don't take, to paraphrase Gretzky.

The only good thing about the most mind numbing play in nfl history is that we are not talking about how they blew a 14 fourth quarter lead against an average team (idc what their record is - they are mediocre at best) at home.
