Re: Around the league Week 5
Just in case in anyone was wondering:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqWZ0Em4XX0 Proof. SMH. The NFL hates us. Really hard to care at this point for an unfair game that can't even get an even amount of regular season games right.

Re: Around the league Week 5
No way it is DPI maybe defensive holding though. The difference in penalty is huge though a spot foul vs a 5 yard and 1st down.

Re: Around the league Week 5
I honestly don't think it was even that. Robertson's left hand brushed against his jersey it appeared, and he made a fantastic defensive play. To make it even worse, the Giants receiver pushed off first. Horrible game changing call.

Re: Around the league Week 5
It's overdue for NFL to bring in more support for the refs. It's obvious that relying on onfield refs' eyes is not enough anymore.

Re: Around the league Week 5
I know baseball purists hate the ABS but let's focus on getting calls right and we have the technology to do it. It's getting really tiring seeing these game changing calls that are blatantly wrong.

Re: Around the league Week 5
Agreed, you have to let guys play through that. It didn't impede the receiver's route whatsoever. Flat out bad call and it had a big impact on the game.

Re: Around the league Week 5
I agree which is why I said maybe for subjectivity. It sucks because if the refs don’t make game changing decisions on minutia then the entire game is different

Re: Around the league Week 5
There is no way we aren't in the Top 5 for teams most screwed by the refs. It's bullshit. We get cheated just about every game.
The refs are the NFL, they are doing what the NFL wants. They aren't bringing in support, they are doing the league's bidding exactly as designed.

Re: Around the league Week 5
a wr can grab pull push fight with a DB andit almost is never called ! when it comes to DPI it's a built in design to create big plays and make scores higher.. You can call holding or PI on just about every play if you want .. The contact on that play did not hinder the WR! How many times does the WR that doesn't make a catch scream for PI !! if i'm coach im asking Refs pre game how are you guys calling this game today ?? because it is a judgement call so why not ask ?
