Anyone else SICK of the media/commentators?

[QUOTE=GoSkinsGoTerps]Mike Lupica on the Sports Reporters was especially irritating this morning.

Lupica is a joke. He thinks New York is the center of the universe and has never been able to conceal his contempt for D.C.

When Jordan came out of retirement to play for the Wizards he was just beside himself. He couldn't believe that Jordan wouldn't want to play for the Knicks because he had convinced himself, along with most of the other New York writers that Jordan somehow considered Madison Square Garden to be his second home.

Also, a few years ago he was talking about being at R.F.K. when Wade Wilson nearly got the Vikings into Super Bowl 22 and what an inspiring performance that was. Doug Williams became the first African-American quarterback to win a conference championship that day and he remembers Wade Wilson?

Finally, I will be interested to see what Lupica has to say about the fact that his beloved Giants got creamed by a team from, of all places, Charlotte, N.C. That's somewhere in the Bible Belt isn't? How could that have possibly happened? How could the great Micheal Strahan have let that happen? Did Tiki forget to wear his cape? It must have been Shockey's injury. Yeah, that's the ticket. No wait. John Fox used to coach defense for the Giants so that is no doubt the angle Lupica will fall back on.
