Re: Anyone else nervous?
im not nervous at all.seattle is the first #1 seed that really doesnt scare anyone.i would be shocked if the skins couldnt run the ball on seattle.that and it seems like every time seattle gets something good going the last couple of seasons, hassleback does something stupid to screw it up.and do their recievers really scare anyone?earlier when we played them ,we beat both wr up

Re: Anyone else nervous?
Is it just me or does it seem like we didn't run a lot of offensive plays to begin with? I mean Mark only passed 15 times. Seattle's defense is far worse than Tampa's.

I didn't think Brunell's knee was an issue against TB. He seemed to move around pretty good, TB's D really locked us down more than anything.

Re: Anyone else nervous?
I think for us to come up with only 120 yds in offense and still win on the road says a lot about this team. I mean, the Giants basically had the same offensive output and got stomped by the Panthers.
I think we'll do very good against Seattle. |

Yes it was a little never racking during the game but I believe in Gibbs and really when you look at the four team left all are about the same. I think not being at home and having to travel is something that we well have to over come. That and only that because both team are good!!!

Re: Anyone else nervous?
It's good to be the DOG! We get complacent and comfortable otherwise. Face it, we got our ASS KICKED by TB Defense. However, they did not self-destruct, and "give us the game". Our Defense TOOK it from them. We did not crater. We improvised, adapted, overcame, and WON. DID WHAT WAS NECESSARY TO WIN. FOUND A WAY TO WIN! That's what will happen this week against the Gulls. -Just different strategy...............

Re: Anyone else nervous?
aikman is very unbiased and gives props to the skins when due.that offensive performance saturday was brutal, but the majority of it was coach sitting on the lead and riding the great play of our defense.we won, thats the bottom line

Re: Anyone else nervous?
Surprisingly, I am not too nervous about the Seattle game. I know they are a good team, but they didn't have a terrible rough schedule. We have already proven that we can win on the road in the playoffs, and we have proven that we can beat Seattle - albeit at Fedex - so I believe we can take Seattle. Regardless, this has been a great ride this season! It only means good things to come for this organization!

Re: Anyone else nervous?
I'm feeling good about this game. Guess what...the last time the Seahawks played anything resembling tough competition was.....you guessed it: November 27 against the Giants.
Since then they have played: At Philly Hosted San Fran At Tennessee Indianapolis (who rested everybody) At Greenbay. Given that the last time they played a competitive team at full strength was against the Giants at home a good month and a half ago, and even that game was close - you've got to like our chances against them. |

Re: Anyone else nervous?
While past history is against the skins (about 87% of home teams coming off bye week win) I think if Portis is able to keep his shoulder ok and play the entire game then I think the skins will win. Seattle is a very good team but the skins are on a roll.

Re: Anyone else nervous?
I was waiting to go to work today.....there are so many haters, it is ridiculous...at my job there are a plethera (sp check) of fans for a variety of NFL teams, you have your Cowboys fans, Giants fans, Philly, New England, Baltimore, even some bandwagon Indy fans.....but one thing they all agree on is that they hate THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS...me being the loud, boisterous and representin' type of 'Skins fan that I am ...these bastards are almost waiting at my cubicle licking their chops at just how much they intend on bashing my beloved SKINS from one week to the next...it all started when we were 5-6 by week 11, the HATERS began to say "Seasons done for your SKINS", one (RAVENS) fan even took it as far to say that we would be lucky to end the season with the same record as Baltimore...can you believe that shit? I was truly offended by that comment...anywho they continued every week with a but you beat (enter next opponent's name here)...there was just no way to get respect from these assholes...I continuously remind them of the FACTS, as stated below....
Rams game.....SKINS WIN Cardinals game....SKINS WIN Dallas game....SKINS WIN Giants game....SKINS WIN Eagles game....SKINS WIN Playoffs-ROUND 1-SKINS WIN... Of course, the latest as of today is that we wont beat Seattle.... I share this information with you, fellow SKINS fans to say this...we will NEVER get the recognition we both earned and deserve from these SOBs...I had to explain the difference today between myself and them...that difference is that no matter the outcome of the game Sat. ( I hope we WIN, of course! I AM PROUD OF MY TEAM...and as a LOYAL SKINS FAN WOULD DO...I will love 'em and rep. them to the fullest forever and ever and ever.....One co-worker gave this analysis of me today... If there were no other jobs on planet EARTH and the only way you could work would be to say that the REDSKINS SUCK... (Courtnee-GOV'T name) would not have a job. If (Courtnee) was stranded on the NORTH POLE and all she had to do was say the REDSKINS SUCK to get a ride home, she would most definitely be walking. I bleed BURGUNDY and GOLD and I tell those bitches at work everyday, NOTHING, I mean absolutely NOTHING is going to change that....WIN or LOSE!!! With that being said....Roasted Seahawk for Sunday dinner sounds real nice right now....GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SKIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNSSS!!!
