Weather in Seattle Saturday? Take a Wild Guess!

I had heard the whole "it rains a lot" in Seattle deal was a ploy by those in Seattle who didn't want a lot of tourism and growth. They hit hard on the fact that it rains and made the city known for it. Isn't the average rain fall not that much more than a bunch of other places in the country?

It is a ploy to keep the Californians down there with Arnold.

The average is less than most (if not all east coast cities). We get most of it between November-February. This past summer it didn't rain for almost 2 months.

Believe me, we Californians would rather be in ...California. It's 8:50am, sunny and 65 degrees right now...in JANUARY. I'll take that over the rain any day. Plus, our women ....well, no contest.

Really? There's a lot of CA transplants up here though, but perhaps they do wish they were back down there as they seem to complain about this weather the most.
