I blame my Son Elijah and may try my first human sacrifice to make things right with the Football Gods.

He picked up his Yellow Skins Towel from where it had helped us win for 6 straight games. Last night he wore it on his head breaking or winning streak.

Hang'ns too good for him!

No, Sammy, it's not your son... I wasn't able to wear the lucky T-shirt that I wore over the last 5. I let the team and the city down... No need to sacrifice your son.

After your son's service for our country, I'm willing to cut him some slack.

30 days in the stockade.

No guys, I take responsibility. I wore a hat AND a jersey which I never do. I started without it but the lights in the ceiling were getting in my eyes and I wore it. I took it off after the Seahawks scored but by that time the damage had been done. Also, against my better judgment, I washed the jersey for the first time since the streak. I had dip stains and other stains I could not identify so I wanted a spiffy clean jersey for the Seattle game. I promise next year to respect the streak and know now that I DO have control over the teams destiny. So I say sorry to Joe Gibbs, his staff and the players and to you my fellow fans. I am truly sorry!!!!!

I blame my wife. I have had 18 of my friends over to watch the game every week during the streak. Against Seattle, I had to go to a wedding I didn't want to go, but my wife coridinated it, and it was her best friend. It's all her fault for making me go.

Great season, down the board. The only thing that I didn't like about the Hawks game was that Mike Sellers didn't touch the ball. But that's insignificant.
