I agree 100%. And then I'd take a serious look at Jurevicius and Bryant

I was thinking Saturday that Joe Jurevicius would be a great pick up for us. hes level headed and hard working vet. The guy has been successful every where hes been, and probably wont have the hefty price tag. Moss, Patten, Jurevicius, Cooley sounds really nice.

Here would be my targets:

Givens: Averages 50-some catches a year with most of them for 1st downs and a respectable 3.9 YAC (to compare with Steve Smith @7.9 and Santana @7.3 this year) He's big, he's young, he's solid and he does not fumble. A good compliment to Moss.

Bradford: Perhaps the biggest project of my picks, but I like him because he finds the end zone. He's older (98 draft by GB). The Skins struggled close to the zone this year and he would be another big target to drive over the middle. He also comes up big on 3rd downs. 9/9 on conversions with a 22+ yard average on 3rd downs. He's never really found his groove in Houston and I think he could help for a few years.

Robinson: A lot has already been said here about Koren. It seems that maybe he has his priorities straight...finally. Maybe it's the fact that he is a dad now. If he does, then I'd love to see him in burgundy and gold. A pure talent. I don't need to elaborate.

Brandon Lloyd: I think this kid really emerged this year...his 3rd in the league. He's a blazer who's fumbled only once in 3 years. SF's lack of QB talent has hurt him over the past 3 years and I think he'd be a steal in the RFA market (cost=4th rounder)

Kevin Curtis: The guy is phenomenal but buried beneath Bruce and Holt. Played with Cooley at Utah State. Early in the season when he was getting starts because of injuries, he was posting very respectable #2 receiver stats. 60 catches, 801 yards, 6 TDs with about 2/3 of the season at the #2 spot (cost= 3rd rounder)

First of all Santana Moss has his money....so If Reggie Wayne came in would, it matter who was one are two...they both would be dangerous weapons and it would open up the field, Brandon Lloyd is on 6 feet, so is Jacobs....6"2" and up is what we need a hard noser that can go across the middle, (Reggie can do that)..Troy Brown.....hell no...to old and he's a 3rd or 4th on a offense with Tom Brady...enough said, lets get what we really need....Moulds, Jurevicius, Wayne, Gaffney, Dez White, maybe Korean Robinson, I guarn dam tee, if Wayne or Jurevicius come over, Santana and Portis game is all open, all most the rest of the guys are #3 or special teams players....draft some diamonds in the ruff.....and we will be good, remember we have a old QB, so we need to surround him with Young Talent.....

if curtis is available i'd give up our 3rd (possibly Sinorice Moss) for him. He's been great as a #3 I'd still try to get KR and reche too though, none would be expensive and our entire WR corp after moss is dumpster material. What round was burleson drafted? he's a good #2...

But can't the team make a high enough tender that signing that player would require a #1 pick? Remember, Coles was a third-rounder, but we had to give up the #13 overall pick for him. I believe that is how RFA works, there are several levels of tender...at one level you have to give up a pick in the round that player was chosen, but at the next level it turns into a first rounder. I suspect both of those players will get high tenders (and the Skins obviously do not have a first round pick).

Quit bashing Brunnel and lets get back to the subject -- #2 receiver. Whoever the quarterback is next year will need some better options. Looking at your list, the name that jumps out to me is Brandon Lloyd. San Francisco would be a fool not to resign him. This guy is on the verge of a major breakout and was held back by Frisco's quarterback carosel.

Reggie Wayne - nice pickup, too expensive
Josh Reed - this would be a great acquisition
Randy Hymes - please, a Ravens receiver -- NO
Antonio Bryant - another bum

I think David Patten and Patrick Ramsey played well together in the preseason; Ramsey threw about 5-6 20 yard deep outs to patten in those games, and they looked like they had chemistry. At that time, from waht i saw in the preseason, I thought Patten would be Ramsey's favorite target, and while we would get big chunks of yardages, there would be turnovers too. Hopefully Patten plays 100% next year, and we have a quaterback playing next year who is willing to spread the ball around and is accurate on those 15-20 yard outs (minus the turnovers). I liked what i saw out of Brunell the first half off the season, but he seemed unable to spread the ball around toward the end of the season, and played mediocre football after the the first Bucs game.

I like Randy Hymes since he is a big, strong target.
I like Kevin Curtis, since he is a speedy big play threat.
I hope we can draft Sinorice Moss in the later rounds because it would be like having Santana Moss and Steve Smith on the same team, and then find a big tall target like Randy Hymes or a big TE who can get downfield via free agency.

Good point about Patten playing well in the preseason, it might make sense that Brunell and Patten just never quite got on the same page because of how Moss just exploded. I think with how Moss was playing so well, the gameplan naturally tilted in his direction and Brunell and Moss quickly developed a chemistry together. By the time teams started taking Moss away and Patten would have had the chance to step up, he went out with the injury.

If we could get him I think Jerevicious is a great pick up he has good size and great hands. He does not drop balls. I mean he upgraded Seattle alot. Last few years all their recievers dropped balls was their biggest offensive flaw. But once he cracked line up you could see it change now you rarly hear of them dropping passes he is type who affects more than on field. He affects locker room and work ethic. As for Jacobs I never liked him. He was a Spurrier guy just like Shane Matthews ANd Danny Worthless Weureful. I mean very few of guys he brought in are still here. Beets is good, and Ramsey well everyone has opinions on him I like him but he has never really played under good system long enough to tell for sure.
