![]() also you said something about patten not being a #2, but without a full year it'd be hard to tell (once he left our passing numbers dropped by 86 yards a game though, even with brunells two terrible games late, that is pretty stark). I agree that we need 2-3 more WRs though (between KR, KC, or maybe grabbing S moss, and bring in a min salary guy like reche C cause he's better than 4 of the guys we had playing WR this year) . |

respectfully disagree with you on lloyd versus curtis. i would not complain with either but i think lloyd has a far greater up side. he is bigger, faster and more athletic. comparing givens to patten is similar only in that they both came from new england. givens is bigger, stronger but not as quick. patten is very fast but small. he is also much older than givens i liked the signing of patten, but the truth is that he is better suited forthe number 3 receiver. we need a number 2 with size and strength. also, brunell never seemed to be looking for patten or he could never find him. just whose fault was that? pattens? brunells? i do not know, but it was obvious this year even before patten went out |

i'm just not sure on lloyd cause he does short arm passes and some people here raised a character issue on him... i just don't want another 50/50. Also lloyd averaged 48 yards per start whereas curtis averaged 68 per start (NEITHER had good QB play). |

what you say makes alot of sense to me. ramsey looked for patten first in preseason and he found him a lot. i think brunell has trouble finding patton. i thought it might have a lot to do with brunell rolling away from patten, but in the end i think it is that brunell simply does not see the field that well. for all the complaints about ramsey locking onto receivers and missing open receivers, brunell did a lot of that the latter half of the year i understand what you say about lloyd. to be truthfull, i would prefer moulds over either one. as for givens, i have never seen him short arm a ball and like wayne, he tries to score on every play. he just does not have the speed of some wideouts. there will be guys out there that could help this offense a lot. but inthe end, brunell will have to hold up or the offense is going to degrade again. |

Re: Free Agent Wish List
The more I think about it the more I like the idea of reuniting Al Saunders and Isaac Bruce. I think this was just an off year for Bruce. I think he still has a few good years left in him.
Problem is a.) how much will he want, and b.) will he even be let go by the Rams. They may decide to hold onto him, see what he can do under Linehan
