And the rest of us will always believe that Gibbs made the right choice and have proof of this past season.

I know.

I just don't consider making the playoffs a gauge of success in this sense, would anyone consider the Colts season a success? Not if your supposed to be playing in the super bowl next week. same here, we could have been much better, look how far we went without an offense, we could be playing next week if we had just a decent offense it didn't have to be great. And anyone who thinks that we didn't have the talent to beat both Seattle and Carolina are only kidding themselves, I say with a real QB we not only beat them, we beat them soundly. So I don't believe when you underachieve that making the playoffs makes you a success. I know it's been a while so making the playoffs is a big deal right now, but when your starving anything tastes good, that doesn't mean you should be happy with spam, when you could of had filet mignon!

I wonder how many people here think that Seattle is a better team than the Redskin's and we couldn't have won that Game........ I know the Redskin's are better!!!!!!!!!

In our case as a loosing team for the past five years yes making it to th playoffs was a success. For the colts who have been a team in the playoffs the past couple of years and at 13 and 0 no it was not a success. You have to start somewhere and we have made the start.

Simple yes or no, with that statement you made, factoring Taylor Jacobs at #2 WR (who ran off the field yelling 'I think I have a concussion' which means you don't), Jimmy Farris at #3 WR and Antonio Brown at #4 WR do you think a 'real QB' would have made a significant difference in that Seattle game?

Is Ramsey that 'real QB' to whom you are referring?

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Re: Will Saunders Affect Our QB Situation?

PorterHouse did refer to Ramsey as Rat Pansy and he said he was an interception machine. I think that's insinuating that he can't play. At least that's my interpretation of it.

Also, I'm not getting into taking sides, I'm just putting it out there that someone has asserted that Ramsey can't play.

Fair enough. But the majority of posters have expressed their respect for Ramsey and, certainly, I doubt that the majority of those involved in the back and forth on this subject wouldn't support the "Rat Pansy" remark. As for being "a turnover machine", taken by itself it could be seen as saying Ramsey "can't play". But, while I consider it an overstatement, it is one of the big knocks on Ramsey and a reason why - despite Ramsey's excellent arm, toughness, and solid leadership abilities - Gibbs prefered Brunnell.

I don't disagree with what you said, I simply wanted to illustrate that at least PorterHouse felt the need to down him further than saying that "he's not the best fit for the Gibbs O." I'm not taking either side, I just remember that was said and I wouldn't to try to show why RC or Offiss might be feeling that way.
