Unfortunately, you're right. What's really sad is that most of the people that you hear speak about him on a personal level feel that he's a really good dude.

This whole thing with him has turned into a vicious, never ending cycle of hoopla that will surely distract any team. I really hope he can get his career back on track.

Well I don't want to come to his defense in any way. I think the media plays a role in blowing his comments out of proportion, but at the same time he's still dumb enough to make those comments in the first place.

Someone his age should realize that the media's going to blow things out of proportion, and that he needs to watch what he says because it's going to get scrutinized. But he still does what he wants anyway. When it comes down to it, he's still a selfish jerk.

I personally hope he never plays football again. You can be a great guy to be around, but if you're going to make negative comments in the media about a teammate, I don't want you in my locker room.
