Sean Taylor?

Hopefully everything works out and he will be able to go in '06, but what do you is the skins backup plan? Does anyone know who will be available @ safety?

Re: Sean Taylor?

Hopefully our backups are capable of taking over until we would be able to draft someone else.

Re: Sean Taylor?

Adam Archuleta, Cory Chavarous ~ among others. I was saying earlier take one of them to work beside Taylor, but they can also be a backup plan if he gets locked up

Re: Sean Taylor?

considering the state of our cap would we will be able to sign one of those guys? If we could and he was a free agent I would love to sign Lawyer Milloy.

Re: Sean Taylor?

I don't think there's much chance that Taylor will miss the season, so I'm not even worried about it.

I like your optimism. I have to admit I'm a wee bit nervous.

I don't think either he will miss any time he'll just settle with the kids give them 100 grand each and trouble over that all this kids whant some money if it where so nobody they would had pressed chrages they'll be happy they survived.

But because he has some dough they whant to take something away its just 2 scare him off don't worry it will only hurth him in the pockets and hey next year he will sign a new multi-year deal so it won't hurth at all.

Unless--------- those kids are, Cowboys or NY or Philly rabbid fans if that's it GUYS YOU'RE SCREWED

They are not sueing him the DA has pressed 3 charges against him so right now money is not the issue. Taylor will either be a skins playing next year or he will be gone for good. I don't see any other way around it unless they take some kind of plea deal but that option may be gone. I feel if he is convicted on one he will be convicted on all three accounts.

Re: Sean Taylor?

yeah but he can persued the 3 people to remove the charges that way the DA can't do shit don't you remmember the first MJ case where he settle with the kid that pressed charges and the DA was left with nothing.

This is the same thing the DA has a case but if Taylor come to a deal with the 3 guys is over

Re: Sean Taylor?

i am nervous about taylors status for next season. if he gets out of it and can get his act together, awesome. that is what i hope for. but i also dont want any criminals and stupid stereotypical overpaid children playing on my redskins football team. i think we should act like he isnt going to be there so that if he does come back he will have to take it seriously, act right, practice right, and have some serious competition for his job to make sure he respects our washington redskins and the opportunity he has.

Re: Sean Taylor?

It isn't about replacing Taylor - there aren't many safeties of his caliber in the league, much less available in free agency.

Safety happens to be a position where we have a lot of depth. If we don't have Taylor we'll be OK, the position just won't be the strength it is now.

Re: Sean Taylor?

ya, i think if ST leaves itll take that intimidation factor outta our defense, besides him who has at least one big hit a game?....and i mean BIG hit......i think honestly he will get convicted b.c its not the people pressing charges anymore the state is prosecuting him.....its outta the hands of those guys pressing charges......its the state......he broke a federal law for godsakes, if it was anyone else, i would say screw him hes an idiot thug....but since its ST its not the same.....
