I think baseball is actually BETTER becuase of that. When is the last time the Yanks have won the series?? It was back when they did things right. At least now we can take care of our own guys, and not get into situations like we did with Smoot and Perice last season. At this point, if its not signed, I think in a way you have to conceede the 2006 season. Not totally, but in terms of personell, you have to make sure you can have the turnover of guys as 2007 and beyond occurs.

And if we become the Yankees, I dont really give a crap. I'd sell my soul for a Super Bowl win, I really dont care how it comes.
